Do you eat the end piece on a loaf of bread, or are you one of those people that pushes it aside?

Unless I'm eating peanutbutter & jelly, I push it aside.

I eat it just like I would any other piece of bread, my wife despises it and if she ends upon it she toasts it and gives it to our rabbits as a treat.

I think I made a comment on a post a while back about it being the most random thing I would expect to read here...I stand corrected lol.

I usually don't care for it but I will if it's all I have.

hi, don't eat it on a regular basis, but will eat it. i don't mind a sandwich made with it, especially a peanut butter & jelly. in fact a peanut butter & jelly sandwich is very good made from both of the loaf "butts". i also like to make sandwiches with loaf bread slices and plain potato chips. take 2 very fresh soft slices of loaf bread and place several large chips in the middle and you have a good sandwich. thanks

The subjects you bring up. You say I m crazy? Have I once ever said," Hey guys . Let's talk bread ."

Since yooooooooooooooooooooou brought it up. I ll give you my 1 cent. Since I can't afford 2 .

Now , what kind of bread ? Italian? Wheat? Wonder? Sourdough? What?

Italian Bread- Heel is the best part. Great for meatballs various meats
Garlic bread . wooo Italian bread....
Wheat- Toast, what else lol

Wonder- Center is best. Always stay fresh longer. Unless you freeze it for a later date .

Heel on wonder bread ( lilian) Is great for Tomatoe on toast. My favor-ite snack.

You 're killing me tonight

I was raised to eat the heel and not complain about it, and now I eat most of them because my kids always seem to leave the ends, which is easy to do because homeschooling moms rarely pack school lunches.

Interestingly enough, I read years ago that serial killers are bread eaters.

Unless it has something growing on it I'll eat it.

If it has something growing on it I'll use it for penacylin.

Waste not, want not

I don't each much bread but I do love it. I love the ends toasted but everyone else in this house pushes it aside....mostly the hubby.....the kidlets will eat it if they have to and they wont complain about it toasted. Only the hubby is picky.

CP, do you eat tomatoes sliced on toast????? OMG!!!!! I love that!!!!! Ever try sliced tomatoes sandwiches with just mayo and a little salt? Love them too, just won't allow myself to each bread.
