This is one of many reasons I quit using inkjet printers 3 years ago. Toner may cost more ($350-400 for a full 4-color replacement of all 4 toner carts), but it can last for at least 10 times as long, a huge savings of $$$ over ink. And it looks better to boot!

You know, I've been looking around and found this "Continuous Ink System" I'm unsure of the reliability of it, but it seems VERY promising for the Epson R200 models. It uses any ink you put into the system uses it like pipe-like things. I'm not sure, hopefully someone has this and can elaborate more on it.
