Thanksgiving is coming, and I was curious what other people are doing for the upcoming holidays...family friends? special meals?

I'm supposed to pick my mom up the wednesday before and she is styaing a few days and we are going 'black friday" shopping.
Haven't done it in about 7 years...You know when you get up at 3 am and wait outside stores to be the first of 9000000 people to get ten dollars off a product.

The last time I did that, was for the Furby my nieces wanted...

I'm staying here. My parents are coming here. We'll do shopping, go eat, cook dinner, etc. They'll be here about two weeks total, actually. My siblings are getting together in Texas for their own one-day feast.

I refuse to go Black Friday shopping. They could give way products, and I refuse to stand in line in the cold hours and hours before a store opens, simply for the privilege to own something. No thanks. I did that once about 7 years ago, to buy a good scanner that I still have and use, but I'll never do it again. Some of those prices aren't all that special anyway.

I m cooking. I m not visiting relatives lol They want me. They can come here.

The only time I hear from them is when they want someting. So not going to stress the relatives on the holiday. The three of us will eat till full , watch cartoons, and take a nap. All that in order too lol
