The site is run by a sleezeball who does not care about the accuracy of the complaints.

This was written online, and sums it up pretty well: "Rip-Off report seemed like a good concept, until you do a bit of research. They permit any nut to write any piece of fiction without checking the facts." From what I'm seeing, criminal charges are being filed against the owner of the site, as well as civil suits for defamation.
