anyone here know of sites where you get information as to what is on the dvd?

ie if a special edition is released, what the extras are, etc.

i know of one:

http://www.dvdcompare.net

quite a good site.

but are there others?

dvdbeaver

no not a site about animals
(and please no sexual innuendos!)

but one that compares various versions of dvd releases.
want to know whether the release is R1 or R2?
anamorphic or not?
subtitled?
picture comparisions
birates
blah blah blah

checkout this link for the film "the thing":
http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/DVDCompare6/thething.htm

in short, a very, VERY, useful site.
