I noticed some auctions on eBay for printable taiyo yuden DVD-Rs. A few auctions show the screen grab from DVD Identifier but these can easily be manipulated. But I am curious how good are the DVD printables of taiyo yuden??

They should be great, however I would avoid ebay at all costs, you would probably end up with TY fakes

If its way cheaper than the online stores there is probably a reason for it, otherwise just order from an online store

Cool thanks Mark. The prices after shipping on eBay were roughly about 10-15 under http://www.supermediastore.com prices before shipping.

I use the White and Silver inkjet printable TY media, and so far they've been great. I usually get them from rima.com

About the same (16x printable = .65 each/100 pack, 8x printable = .59 each/100 pack)

I had some 4x printable TY discs, and all burned great, not one bad burn out of the lot.

I use the inkjet white TYs a good bit and I alawys order from RIMA. I like RIMA over Supermediastore. They're shipping seems faster (to the East Coast anyway)
