Lite-on 16x DVD Burner

I just bought me this burner and my pc doesn't seem to be burning any blank disc.Can someone tell me what the problem is,it'll read the disc but won't burn.

get the appropriate firmware from here and then try again:

Maybe in your burning software, You have it set to burn to IMAGE.. (like it will make an image on your harddrive..) If NERO, go into recorder and make sure it has selected your actual burners device example. D: or F: something like that, instead of IMAGE.
