I am not sure if this is the right place to put this post but I need some help. Over the past few days I've found out that some VHS and DVD titles have been released in certain countries and are now out of print. I was wondering if anyone on here knows of any good websites that finds out of print/deleted VHS and DVDs in Australia and Portugal, or ebay like auction sites?
I have tried ebay but no luck
Hope someone can help me, Thanks

I used to use Blackstar.co.uk, but I think that site went away a few years ago. They were good about European OOP VHS tapes, UK or not.
The best luck I've had for Australia is to actually make friends with somebody online, and then get them to look around in person or at local sites they know of. And I've had good success here too, have a nice stack of OOP VHS tapes because of it.
Portugal might be a bigger problem, especially if you speak neither Portuguese or Spanish. For DVDs, I have used dvdgo.es and a few others.
If the titles are translated, sometimes Google for that country works good, be it Google.es, Google.com.au, etc. Searching in English brings back English results, or USA/Canada searches bringing back USA/Canada centric results. Try to search as if you were in that country. Google.co.uk won't work as well outside UK, for example.

blackstar.co.uk became www.sendit.com a few years back. More like an amazon.com site now

I have found a site whereby I can buy one of the out of print DVD's I have been looking for, but I have a problem! The site is all written in Portugese. I have translated it using Google, but there does not seem to be any info. on how to pay or how to order. I wonder if there is anybody out there that could possibly help me find out what to do?
This is the DVD I am after: http://www.trocaseusados.clubedevide...mart&Itemid=52
Thanks in advance

Hablo espanol --- and it's not too different from Portuguese. Let me take a quick peak.
On the menu, "Como Pagar?" ~ "How to Pay"
Spain and Portugal are super-duper anal retentive when it comes to online shopping. So much so, that it's more like 1980s-style catalog shopping. Only the catalog is shown online, you must call to place the order. I had to always fax my credit card info to dvdgo.es when I used to buy rare Spanish DVDs from Spain. The 1980s Hulk series, for example -- or the ultra-crap-quality F4 1978 series (not worth the money AT ALL).
What this store will do is email you a confirmation that the item is available and in stock, and then you have to send a bank transfer (wire transfer) to one of these accounts:
Nib Principal:0033.0000.45363886211.05
Nib Alternativo: 0033.000045286685754.05
Also on the menu: "ENVIOS E DEVOLUÇÕES" ~ Sending (Shipping/Delivery) and Returns
Their shipping information all looks domestic -- I see no mention of overseas/foreign shipping being available. You might need to email them. Just type a question in Google translate. Mention that English is your first language, that you're using Google translate, and you apologize for bad grammar. Send that to them, see what they say.
I love how they use the "FAQ" abbreviation (frequently asked questions) when FAQ would not be the term in their native language. Classic.

I believe Descatalogado means "out of print" or "discontinued" .... literal translation is "uncatalogued"/"uninventoried"
So no, probably not for sale.

6,300.00 JPY = 76.4572 USD = 46.6217 GBP
+ shipping.
It's sold directly by Amazon, and they'll ship internationally.
Use the Google Chrome browser -- it offers to translate pages when you visit non-English sites (or non whatever-you-are).
