I got hooked on this series through the original BBC release. Highly recommend it. Even the featurettes are fun.

I like it better than Torchwood, to be honest. I enjoy Torchwood, but the cheese factor gets a little stifling sometimes. Primeval has some cracking good stories, and decent effects. Some moments of genuine scare as well.
