i have the retail dvd release of The Perils of Penelope Pitstop. however, these are not as originally aired. main issue is that the cliffhangers have been chopped off. so does anyone here have the original airings? or perhaps a vhs-to-dvd conversion which do have the cliffhangers? or anywhere i can download it? thanks.

Aren't these the same as the Boomerang airings, however? If so, I doubt anybody has any different.

AFAIK, all airings, for a long time, chopped off the cliffhangers.

here is one such cliffhanger:

hence, the best bet is if someone has old vhs recordings.
or perhaps getting retail vhs versions and checking those for the cliffhangers.

I vaguely remember Cartoon Network using these as interstitials in the early 1990s, when they had a mostly commercial-free schedule. Boomerang was the same was until the mid 2000s. They'd run filler, sometimes shorts (T&J, mostly), in order to reach the next 10-minute mark. Sometimes always started in intervals of 10. You'd have a show that starts at 1:10, and the next episode starts at 1:35. In order to match the times day to day, there's be stretches of time filled with something random in order to sync.

Moved the post into the Superheroes, Cartoons and Anime. Maybe some random person online will know where/how to get these.
