An article in Variety confirmes that Cartoon Network has acquired exclusive domestic TV rights to the new Fantastic Four animated series. The show is a co-production of Marvel Studios and French animation firm Moonscoop. Cartoon Network has commissioned 26 episodes of the series, which will begin airing this fall.

This just means it will air sporadically and then be cancelled, even though it's doing well. I just don't get it. From all of their other programming announcements, they're just not targeting this audience, so why even pick the show up. Eh, CN really bothers me now.
