The Sci Fi Wire reports that DreamWorks is working on a CGI film based on the Rocky & Bullwinkle characters, Mr. Peabody & Sherman. The film is the story of a dog and his boy assistant who go time traveling on a device called the Wayback Machine.

Tiffany Ward (daughter of the late Jay Ward) and Eric Ellenbogen will executive-produce the film. Rob Minkoff will direct.

No release date has been announced.
