NBC has given a full-season order for 2006-07 to Heroes, the Monday night series that is the No. 1 new show in ratings for adults 18-49.

"Heroes has delivered exceptional ratings since its premiere and we're even more impressed with the quality of the upcoming episodes," said Kevin Reilly, president, NBC Entertainment.

"We have complete confidence in creator-executive producer Tim Kring. The best is yet to come over the course of a full season with this newest drama sensation."

Heroes is averaging a 5.7 rating, 14 share in adults 18-49 and 13.5 million viewers overall, making it the #1 new series this Fall in adults 18-49, tied with ABC's Brothers & Sisters.

Heroes is the No. 1 show in its competitive Monday 9-10 p.m. (ET) slot in adults 18-49, generating a 43 percent increase on NBC's non-sports average for the time period last season.

Thats good to hear, I have enjoyed what I have seen. And you are right Marcus, the fact it came from NBC is even more impress given their lack of decent programming since they lost the Must See TV status.

i am all caught up watching this show and i have to say it is very addicting. Just makes you wonder though what they are gonna do beyond the first season. But, I think i might have to look for a Tivo just because 24 is coming up soon and Heroes and 24 are on at the same time.
