I just emailed DIC Entertainment and asked them if they have any plans to release or re-air the 1986 Dennis The Menace cartoon series. I am upset that this is still not on dvd. I really don't care if it does not have a dvd release just as long as it re-airs on a cartoon channel (like Boomerang) again in the near future. So, now I wait for their response.....

I am surprised it has not aired on WB/CW or FOX stations, those are the ones with explicit ties to DIC through Libertys Kids, The Littles, Inspect Gadget and the Gadgetinis, and Strawberry Shortcake.

You would think that Dennis the Menace would fit right in with the syndication packages. Even if they could re-air it on the BFC it would be good!

I doubt Boomerang would air it given its ties to Warner Bros and Hanna Barbera, more likely the DIC E/I blocks.

There are several places you can petition to get a show out on the air or out on dvd-
showing interest sometimes speeds things along, does DIC have something like this if you post the link we could all request it
Take the station by storm and have them fall to our whim of television desired broadcasting..er well, okay maybe they would just add the show.

Sorry watched Braveheart last night.

Hi,

I am a huge Dennis The Menace cartoon fan. I am writing this email in
regards to the 1980's DIC Animated Dennis The Menace cartoon series. I
wanted to know, since DIC has re-acquired the rights for all 78 shows
and the specials is there any possible chance to see this series
released on DVD in the near future? If not, will this series be airing
on any of the cartoon channels available in the USA, i.e. Cartoon
Network, Boomerang, etc.
I love this cartoon and it should have a home on DVD.

Thanks and I apprecaite any information you can provide to me.

Raman Mehta
