New "Garfield" Animated Series on the Way

Writer Mark Evanier has posted a release from Paws, Inc., announcing that a new Garfield animated series is in the works. Evanier confirmed the release's statement that he will write the series, and further stated that he will be voice directing as well. There is no information at this time about when the series will debut or in which markets it will be available.

I'm going to hate to see what they do to Garfield in a PC world these days.
