The live-action Speed Racer feature, directed by Larry and Andy Wachowski, is scheduled to hit theaters in the US on May 9, 2008, introducing Warner Brothers' slate of Summer 2008 releases. This is two weeks earlier than previously stated. Speed Racer will open in many international markets on the same day.
