I noticed they are releasing the real ghostbusters show on individual dvds with a few episodes on each. Does anyone know if they plan on releasing them in a set sometime soon?

Those are re releases of the Magic Window VHS tapes from the 80's. I don't think they'll ever release the series on DVD.
I've read quite a few times that there's a huge thing going on about who owns the rights. Dan Akroyd's left Columbia and all 4 actors have to agree on it.
