Back in 2005, it was revealed that "Lost" star Josh Holloway had to take himself out of consideration for the role of Gambit in X-Men: The Last Stand. Now, ShowbizSpy is claiming that Holloway has again commented on the role:
He told TV Hits magazine: "We had a meeting and they wanted me to play Gambit, the card dealer character, they thought I'd be perfect for the part. We'll see." We haven't found anything about this on TV Hits site, so it could just be an old quote. Either way, a fourth "X-Men" movie has not been confirmed and there's nothing that says Gambit is in the Wolverine spinoff.
