National Geographic Kids to Unleash "Plantzilla"

National Geographic Kids are developing a TV series adaptation based on Jerdine Nolen's Plantzilla, about a young boy and his friend, a sentient pot plant. Both Nolen and the book's illustrator David Catrow will be involved in development of the series with writing provided by Mark Drop, who's credits include various Disney shows and Danny Phantom.
