I know all about Saturday Supercade-

I put the few episodes I had to DVD as well as trading for a few more out there.
But were there ever sets done, or an availability of some of those toons, OTHER than Saturday Supercade?

More specific.

I remember watching Q-Bert as a kid-
I remember watching Frogger, and Donkey Kong/Jr.

I remember watching Pac-Man as a kid.

Now Pacman, ran on its own- there is a 3 dvd set of it.

But were the other 2-3 like Q-Bert ONLY show in Saturday Supercade? or did they highlight them ON the show- and many more episodes were done- just not available?

I suppose its almost impossible to find, but I am curious if the Supercade highlighted a few episodes of an alraedy running show.
or if they were the only episodes OF the show.

Hope that makes sense- because what I pull up on the web is conflicting.

Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post
Hmmmmmmm I think they were only part of that show and sometimes the shows would switch. I taped the first show (first airing) and back then it was frogger, pitfall harry, donkeykong JR and something else. I would have to re-check my older beta tape.

For the life of me I cannot recall if some of these toons went off on their own time slot. I really think Donkey Kong JR did. I know pole position was another one but I cannot remember if it was part of supercade or on its own?

As far as I know supercade did not take already made shows and showcase them. The shows on supercade were made specifically for that. Then again since video games were at an all time high perhaps CBS got the rights to a few of them and made a nice little package calling it supercade. This would then support the toons being made on their own.

I don't think they ever had thier own shows. It was Frogger, Donkey Kong and DK Jr. were weekly and then Q-Bert and Pitfall Harry rotated weekly. Later on Frogger and Pitfall were replaced by Kangaroo and Space Ace. These are the episodes I know about (I think my list was from TV.com...)
I'd love to see a set of this show. I've only got a few episodes, and the quality is poor on most of them.

Savage I would love to get whatever episodes you have. I along with others have a high quality disc with a whole Saturday morning with commercials intact. If you need a copy of that disc I would be happy to help.
