Warner Bros. is postponing production on Justice League of America indefinitely, Variety reports.

Options that have tied the current cast to the project have been allowed to lapse, but the the studio says it is still determined to make the film with the actors assembled by director George Miller. At the earliest, work on the film could resume in the late summer.

The studio is blaming the delay on its inability to get necessary tax breaks for shooting in Australia, and on the writers' strike, which has prevented the studio from getting a final script revision.
