Nickelodeon and Mall of America will open Nickelodeon Universe, a new theme park, on Saturday, March 15, the network said today.
The attraction, which is the first-ever Nickelodeon theme park in the world, will feature such Nick-themed rides as the SpongeBob SquarePants Rock Bottom Plunge; Avatar Airbender; and Splat-O-Sphere. It will also have live shows, attractions, retail, games and entertainment related to Nick-themed properties. Nickelodeon will also open a new, 4000 square foot store at the mall.
