The Disney Channel original Phineas and Ferb debuted on Friday, February 1, as cable's most-watched animated series premiere on record in Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.4 rating). The series stood as Friday's No. 1 TV series in all key kid demographics: Kids 6-11 (2.0 million/8.2 rating), Girls 6-11 (1.3 million/10.5 rating), Boys 6-11 (751,000/6.0 rating), Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.4 rating - tie) and Tween Girls (957,000/8.0 rating). In Total Viewers (4.0 million), Phineas and Ferb was TV's most-watched animated series telecast of the day.
