Russia's 2X2 adult animation channel has pulled Happy Tree Friends and The Adventures of Big Jeff from its lineup after the government watchdog group Rossvyazokhrankulutra complained that they were too violent, Variety reports.
The general director of the channel said he chose to comply with the request because the shows were near the end of their license and not worth fighting about. He also promised to replace them with "the most childish and stupid cartoons” he can find.
