Download the FlashGot 1.5.5.4 Firefox add-on. Play video and there should be a FG Media icon on the bottom right of your screen. Download the .MP4 file. Now you just have to convert it to DVD with ConvertXtoDVD or by playing it on your TV via a media player and record to DVD.

thanks, I DL'd it already. I use the "DownloadHelper" add on. My concerns were whether Vimeo would allow it, and if it would be complete (sometimes I've gotten disconnected). Was occasionally skipping frames until I repacked the A/V files into MKV, and now plays smoothly. Looks to be interlaced or telecined. Since it's HD, hopefully a dvd conversion will look good.

Vimeo says this was uploaded a year ago. I've googled over the last year and never saw the complete video upload - only the short trailers - and the filmmakers/distributors online never replied to my emails. It looks like they uploaded it themselves. Did you search Vimeo, or the "Video" link on google? I'm ticked off I didnt find it all this time.

I used google to find the vimeo trailer link. Then I searched through the vimeo website.

huh. Next time I'll search Vimeo and not trust Google to do a thorough search. Thanks again!
Btw, I use AVSTODVD to convert bluray and certain other formats to dvd. Has alot of settings you can adjust, and the results are great.

I'm wondering if you can help me DL a related video? It's a bonus short on their own website. I couldnt find it on Vimeo. There's a very compressed version on youtube which I can DL, but I'd prefer the better video.
http://www.itvs.org/video/the-recons...er-video-extra

DownloadHelper wont recognize it, so I installed Flashgot, but I was unsure how to use it - I think because it too wont DL the video.
Tried playing it in IE to see if it would be saved in the Internet Temp folder, but it wasnt. Also tried saving the webpage, but no video was included. Thanks for any suggestions.

For something that short, I'd use screen capture software. Attached.

Attached Files
File Type: mp4 ITVS-Asa-Bonus.mp4 (25.71 MB, 85 views)

thanks, Lordsmurf. What software did you use for the capture?
A duplicate download is always preferable over screen capture, regardless of the length of the audio/video, but in this case it has some advantages over the youtube video.
