I am just beginning to learn how to use authoring programs and was wondering what everybody uses for their master copies of the discs they create?

Thanks
Matt

Ulead DVD Workshop 2.22
Sonic Solutions DVDit! PE 2.5.4
Apple DVD Studio Pro 1.1
few times Pegasys Tsunami DVD Author (TMPGEnc, TDA)

I master onto PVC001002, MXLRG01, MXLRG02 or MCC00RG20 media
Note that none of these exact discs are made now, I have a nice stash.
These days TY and MXL media are your best bet.

Apple DVD Studio Pro 3.0 almost 90% of the time

When I have to:

Ulead DVD Workshop 2.22 5%
Pegasys Tsunami DVD Author (TMPGEnc, TDA) 5%

I master onto to Pioneer and Maxell discs, with verification and scan afterwards

Thanks all. I am only using TY now and they seem to work great, so I'll use those. Also what disc scanning software is recommended?

Thanks

Matt

Nero CD-DVD Speed. Run a SCANDISC and do surface test.
And then stick it in the DVD player, make sure it works.
