Okay, for those of us who lack patience for the pen tool. You do basically the samething with less work
"Custom Thumbnails made for TDA, the easy way; using adobe photoshop elements 2.0 "

You can create thumbnails as seen on phillips TDA Guide.
By using adobe photoshop elements 2.0 . Which you can download the trial vserion ( fully functional for 30 days).

I m terrible with the pen tool Okay , I ll say it. I just outright suck with the pen tool . Sooooo... after reading phil's guide . Some playing around with elements. Here's what ya do:
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAArey you ready.

Open 2.0

Depending on size of image you want to do.
I used the basic 720 x 540 then resized to my viewing pleasure
Just as phil stated.

open image -
duplicate ( must have 3 layers as phil stated )
just copy three times or create 3 new layers. Up to you.
Go to layers - select transparency-

to the left - layer style - select "Ghost" drag and drop to image or text. You want to use the effect on.

if you want to continue to be lazy. in layer effects - you can highlight by simple drag and drop . Or Open photoshop . I use 2.0 for this effect only The rest I use photoshop.

save 3 layers as psd . There ya go. Same results less work
Or for those of us who lack patience

Note : as philip stated in advanced mode make sure your second layer is not selected.

In plain engrish:

[u]"Your basically ghosting your text or image for the video to display throoooooooooooooogh it. "</u>

I ll try to post some screen caps to show what I did. LS I enclosed a disc of Hudson brothers razzle dazzle show. Using this method.
So you can see the results.

Maybe you can post some caps as well. should be there any day now?
