here in the UK we have a free digital service called freeview. well its free after you buy the hardware!

there is also a service called top up tv. for a one off connection fee of £20 and then monthly subscription of £7.99, you get a lot more channels you don't need ... but you also get cartoon network and boomerang.

so, i'm using this opportunity to ask fellow UK members whether this top up tv is worth the money purely for the cartoon channels.

also, what digital freeview set top box should i go for? i've read that all the equipment is rubbish with delays changing channels, bad picure quality, no EPG etc.

any recommendations?
