I was hooking up a video camera to this monitor, and then the rca cable just touched the audio cable and there was a small spark sound... Then the monitor wouldn't work anymore.. I think its the power base. (that little box that lists the volts or whutever) Anyways, how can I test this plug here? without plugging it in and putting my tongue to it hahaha j/p

Some sort of power tester. Somewhere like Radio Shack, maybe a hardware store.
