all,

i've got an mpeg2 that i'm trying to author via dvdlab pro.

when i import the file into dvdlabpro, after demuxing, it moans about gop errors.

so i tried using videoredo to resave the mpeg2 whilst fixing the gop.

still dvdlabpro moans about gop errors.

really starting to tick me off as i've spent a couple of hours already.

any ideas how i can remove the gop errors?
or is it a dvdlabpro problem?

DVD specs have a max GOP length and require sequence headers on each GOP. What is your source?

DVDLab is quite honestly poorly written software, created by a guy that has a loose understanding of the DVD specs and has been known to plagiarize information for his site and software documentation. I'm really not surprised you're having issues.

All I can suggest is trying to make sure you have the most recent updates, check the third-party support forum that Mediachance uses, or better yet, upgrade to different software like Ulead DVD Workshop 2.
