Is there any way to compress or convert a AVI file to something smaller so I can burn it to a CD? I downloaded a show that is 704 MB so I can't get Nero to burn it to a CD and I only have a CD burner on this computer.

I tried e-mailing it to myself but that isn't working either. I might be able to hook up my external DVD to this computer to burn it to a DVD, but was hoping for something else. This is an old Micron 400 mhz desktop that I use primarily for internet and word processing. HELP!

MICRON ! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!

My first nightmare .... micron386 Oh the horror

upload it to yousendit.com

send it to yourself at your other address. Where you can burn convert it.

Convert it to vcd via tmepg plus, procoder, . Or use VSO to convert it to DVD.

A side from that . I assume you ll have to use Virtualdub.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR. ... grab a 1 gig jump drive copy it to there. Or borrow someone's external HD. ??? Men l

With that mircron p.o.s. ... I wouldnt press the issue

hook up an external. Save yourself the headache.

You re-encode, you lost quality.
Just overburn a CD. 704 should fit, no problem at all.
