Cool, thanks for the info. That looks like the right ratio for a file of that size. I played some of those files on tv without correcting for overscan, and there wasn't any cutoff that really jumped out at me.
As far as the audio problem, it must just be that file that's acting up, because I've ran a bunch of tests on other stuff like anime music videos and a file in .wmv format, and the sound works fine. When I go to source setting for this file, the green line that indicates the audio soundtrack is completely flat. Ulead was able to encode the file with no problem, though.
