my dvd-rom on my duplicator just died ive burned thousands of dvds and thought it was great it was an asus but they dont make that model anymore. I need a dvd-rom to put into my duplicator that will read almost anything. i have a lot of old sets that might be hard to read so need something that can read almost anything. has to be ide though if its a burner thats fine but it will only be used as a reader

A modern Pioneer burner makes for a great reader and ripper. DVR111 to current 116.
BTC DVD-ROM and BTC DVD+RW drives makes for some of the best readers ever.

current model 116D.
never ever had any probs when used on verbatim dvds.
