TVPast Forums | DVD Recorder or Cable Box Left Side Audio Louder Then Right Side

Ok so im noticing that the tv station Disney XD has just Left side audio or really un even audio. It was fine before but for the past 2-3 weeks its been messed up. I thought it was my cables and my recorder but its now. how do i contact them to let them know its messed up? i thought it was my recorder or my cable box but it seems like only this station plays left side only. This is really annoying when im trying to record stuff from the station. how can i fix it so audio is on both sides or contact a tv station?

Contact your service provider. My Disney XD is fine. I have Dish Network, so I doubt it is the station itself. Who do you have serivce with? Your satelite may need re-aligned.

i dont have sat anymore i have cox cable. i mean u wouldnt be able to tell unless its hooked up to a reciever or head phones. like it sounds fine like its coming from both speakers when i go to other rooms with tvs in my house. but mine just on that channel it says Left side audio only through my reciever no matter if its through hdmi or composite (Red/White Cables). it sounds like the left side is a lot louder then the right side.

ill put a sample up to show what i mean but sounds like the words on the left side is a lot louder and other sounds.

i called my cable company and they said something bout if its just that channel then its the station. which i never had this problem with sat. hopefully i can get sat back but where i live i got new manager and she made me get rid of my sat dish and get some crappy cable with hardly any stations.

Hmmm...Still sounds like the provider and not the station. Maybe Im wrong. You can fix the audio in soundforge, but thats more work on you. You could try to get ahold of the station, but I have no idea how you would reach Disney XD. I doubht they take alot of calls. You may try e-mailing them.

i fixed it i mean with editing it or whatever. wasnt that bad to do though. I actually just want dish hd or directv hd back i was a lot happier with their hd channels and the box actually output WS signal through Analog to the dvd recorder. my stupid cable box now auto letterbox everything though the yellow/red/white cables. which sucks cause you cant turn it off.
