used WMP to burn some mp3s to cd.
when i use WMP, i can see some tag info, like song title.

but when i try another audio player, winamp, i can't see the song titles.

so has the cd got the song titles?
how can i test this?

or what method should i use to burn cds and add song title?

ta for your help.

The ID3 tags are in the MP3's, but not all players recall them. The ID3 must be added manually to the MP3, from the original audio CD, if you're not using software that auto-adds that data to the MP3 it creates. I don't know what software does that, I don't really care. I look at the filenames.

LS, ta for the input.

to clarify...

i used Mp3Tag, http://tinyurl.com/82v56, to add extra info onto the the mp3 files.

then used WMP to burn the mp3s as a normal cd, not a cd that has mp3 files.
doing this because my relative does not have a mp3 player.

so, when i playback the normal audio cd via WMP, i can see the song titles.
but when i use WinAmp, i can't see the song titles.

hence my original questions about how to cut the audio cd with song title info and how to verify it.

at the end of the day, this is not a big issue.
as you said, make a simple label with the song titles - job done!

I don't know that there is a way to have titles show on an audio CD, when it's a custom job. WMP only works because it burned the CD, and it knows what is on the disc.

used Burrrn with cd-text enabled.
now Winamp has the song titles.
so perhaps this is one method?

WMP, for some reason, does not show the text burned via Burrrn.
but i have read that WMP does NOT have this facility anyway.

will know when i use audio cd on my relative's cd player.
