I was in big and small lots the other day with my g/f.. they had 4 MK Deception action figures... i'm really looking for the very fiirst mortal kombat figures... anyone one know a good place to get them? besides ebay...

Check your local Kaybee Toys (K-B Toys) if you have one. Malls, usually. Any mall toy store would be good too. Maybe an old Toy'R'Us. It really depends on how run down your area is. In Dallas, I usually can't find squat. In my parent's hometown, they have backstock that is years old, because they're in a semi-rural area.

Also try comic stores that also sell toys. I used to be in the buy-sell-trade toy business (hobby job on the side), buying locally and selling/trading online, but that was the 90s, I've lost touch. The Internet drove out the profit possibilities for little guys like me.
