The "Robotech: The Shadow Chromicles" film will be shown at the following film festivals:
http://robotech.com/news/viewarticle.php?id=274
I encourage anyone who can make it to one of these showings to do so as it MAY be the only way to watch this newest chapther in the Robotech saga.
P.S.
If anyone has already seen this film at any of the other festivals where it has already been shown, then please, ***WITHOUT SPOILING IT***, tell us if it met up with your expectations...Why?...Why not?

I thought the film was pushed back for release until the first quarter of 2007?

You would be correct there, Feb 2007. They are relaunching the role playing game as well as a trading card game.
I stopped reading news when I found out it was coming to DVD in November lol
Then yes GO SEE THE MOVIE lol

This is sounding more and more like Sentinels.
Bump, bump, bump, bump ... croak. I really hope not.

I dont know, I think Robotech is on a more solid footing right now since they are essentially financing themselves.
But I wont be 100% sure till the DVD is in my hands, I think they want it to get good word of mouth so they can spend less on advertising and thus make more when the DVD is released. The Clerks II method is what they are doing so they spend $5million on production and make $25million in the theatres plus DVD sales = 400% profit
