A power calibration error is usually an indication of using subpar quality media in a DVD burner. So I have to ask, is this happening during the BURNING phase of using Shrink? If so, which burning engine are you using? Nero, DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn?

Sony discs and Shrink to burn, with a lite-On burner.

Shrink does not burn -- it uses other APIs, be it Nero, DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn. So which API is DVD Shrink calling upon to do its burning? It says it right there in the software, when you choose where to burn the disc, or create an ISO.
