I'm getting tired of remakes. Hollywood is running out of ideas.
All they do is remake everything now.

My wife rented about 10 Asian horror movies so she can see what new movies are going to be made.

I agree-

The last few years have been especially bad-
Wicker man, the Fog, and so on.

I am not sure to me which is worse, the blatent remakes - because they think they can do a better job.
or the "cultural" remakes- where they take an idea, and decide to alter it for a ethnic or heritage change.
For some reason it just doesn't work out well.

I agree there aren't many "new" ideas- but at least provide enough variations its still entertaining.

The omen was horrifically dull for example.
