I went to the dollar stores around me yesterday, and was surprised at all the awesome goodies they had ranging in the $1 to $5 price range. I went to Dollar General, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, and another one. I also went to Wal-Mart.

Anyway, I saw these things:
TMNT toys $1, including some nice mini figs!
JLU and Batman TAS figures for $1
Power Rangers figures and mini-figures for $2
Power Rangers mini zords (6" tall) for $5
Power Rangers HK fakes, still neat figures $1
Cartoon tapes and DVDs for $1 to $4 each.

I bought an old B&W movie, Zorro cartoon episodes, and Roswell cartoon episodes, all for $1-2 per disc! They had old VHS tapes too, like the Back to the Future cartoon for $1 each!

I shopped at MacFrugal's and Big Lots a lot back in college, got many good deals on toys and tapes. I bought quite a few Marvel 60s and 90s toon releases for $1 each and Smurfs figures for 50 cents apiece MOC.

These stores have some awesome stuff sometime!

Wal-Mart carries cheap DVDs and clearance aisle toys too, so check it out. Toys-R-Us and Kaybee Toys did too, once upon a time, and some select stores are still bargain centers like that.

Don't miss out. I never have. Neat stuff!

Big Lots actually has some of the newer line of toys as well (they were the first chain to get the Braniac/Darkseid series of DC Superheroes a few weeks back)

I got my JL Watchtower at Big Lots for $14.

The tapes and DVD's is where the big fun is, Dollar General tends to have DVD's like Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas , the Littles Christmas, and other DIC/animated Christmas specials for $1-4

I agree, Bargains have become so much more convieneient.
Our Wal-mart- every time I go, they have near the end stacks of dvds for 1$
I also grabbed the rosewell cartoon, 3 dvd set which is ALL of season one.
I grabbed some old lone ranger, and old cartoons like heckle nad jeckle

Our dollar store as well, loads of great stuff, discs, movies- old pc games I still enjoy-
I never walk out of there with less than 15-20 things
but hey 15-20 bucks, means 15-20 items. Rarely can you say that in this day and age.

I found a few mystic force rangers at the dollar store here, but that was it. I bought the solaris knight for $3, sadly its the most show accurate figure BA has produced. I want to get the japanese one eventually.
