Our friends at ToonZone.net have posted a press release the past week from Funimation, about both Sonic X - Season 5 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Season 4. It confirms info in a Navarre/Funimation listing that the "Season 4" DVD will arrive on September 12th, with 14 episodes (including the "new Shredder" plot) from the most recent version of the show. Besides those episodes, the 2-DVD set will include extras such as "5 never-before-seen TMNT shorts," and some animatic clips as well.

However, the press release below also clears up certain things: instead of just 125 minutes as the running time (which makes no sense for 14 eps!), the press release says it is 315 minutes (or 22.5 minutes per episode). Also, the cost is the $16.98 SRP we've seen in Amazon's pre-order listing all along ($12.69 after discount), not the two-dollars-lower list price that the Navarre entry shows in error. It's still quite small an amount for a 2-DVD season set, but that's the extra value for you! Here's the press release:
