The producer of the Spiderman movies, Laura Ziskin, has been quoted in The Hollywood Reporter saying that the Spiderman theatrical movie franchise will be continuing on. No details have been given out about cast, director or date, however Sony does plan to continue making Spiderman movies under their use it or lose it deal with Marvel. The over 2 billion in box office take of the first three movies so far would certainly be a major factor in wanting to continue the films.
