On the official FUNi boards, it has been confirmed that the 5/13/08 release of Shin-chan vol. 1 will only contain English audio. However, a special feature on disc 2 allows watching "Battle Encho-man" in Japanese.

I love this show. I think i'm like the only one that watches it. Well, I have all of the first season eps (1-26) and I also have the two newest season 2 eps as well.
The dubbing is actually quite funny with the adult themed humor.
