Just wondering if there is one out yet. Hopefully one that has a HDD and can still record to dvd-R etc

Pioneer makes one, so does LG. They do at least DVD+R DL.

I think I found it, it is a 80gig hard drive it records to DVD-R/RW as well as DVD-R DL.

Only $399.00

But in SP it would be about 4.5 hours not bad at all

That could be atleast 10 episodes of say any 23 minute cartoon
