recently, i've found that i need twin tuners, ie to record 2 shows simultaneously.

does anyone here use twin tuner technology?
is there anything to watch out for?

over here in the UK, there are devices that will have twin tuners for "freeview" (UK digital service). watch 1 record 1, or record 2 at once.

but how does the hardware handle 2 signals/writes at once?
is there enough horsepower/bandwidth for harddrives to cope with 2 "handles" at once?

any info would be appreciated.
