There are 2 rows of settings, the top one is color, brightnes, sharpness etc. The bottom row is the input signal, normally in automatic mode it scans until it picks up the signal and sets itself depending on the source, but for some reason it is not working correctly, it continues to scan even though there is a signal going to it. I have checked all the connections, replaced the input cable with a known good one and I know the signal from the player is good because I connected it directly to the TV, I can set it manually but I am not sure which is the correct setting for NTSC. ( I am hoping that it is not the S-Video input connection on the TBC itself....that little bugger is pricy) I hate to use the RCA video input unless I absolutely have to.

My set up is this: PAL/NTSC DVD Player or VHS (depending upon the source) > AVT-8710 TBC > Color Corrector > Pioneer DVD Recorder

Never had a problem until recently and I have narrowed it down to the TBC but I got it so long ago and I lost the instructions. Thanks for any assistance.
