hi LS, could you let us that want to get the smith eps from innertube how we could do this? please help us out. your expertise is always gladly appreciated. thanks stoogedog

I have no idea. I looked at it a day or so ago. You basically have DRM-protected streams hidden behind a Flash platform that is hosted on a non-CBS server. There's really no way to do it at the moment.

If you have a video card you could always run it out of that while its playing on the pc, or use a "lesser" screen capture app

well after reading your first post I want to make sure my assumption was correct. You have a website that has show eps you would like but are unable to download (or steal the stream) right?

hi robot, yes you are correct sir. there are eps of the show smith airing on cbs innertube and i would like to get them on dvd. your assistance and info on this matter is greatly appreciated. let us know. thanks stoogedog

working with a few mor that give the filename as well, but if you take that huge link and shove it on your borwser you can play the ep in windows media
player. Still seeing if their is an easy way to steal the stream or if video card out will be the option

here is the exact url for this file and I am in the process of stealing it
keep in mind it offers you two choices: wmv or crap real file. Obviously I'am going with wmv.

Are these shows rare? The quality on them still is not the best and if you are just using it to complete a set, I would strongly tell you to wait for an official dvd release of somekind. If not, please give me as much info as you can. So far it seems I can take the streams.

hi robot. yes they are rare. if you can cpature them for me, i would greatly appreciate it. i would work out a trade with you for them. i'm not much of a techie when it comes to capturing video from the web. let me know if and when you can get these and we can work out a trade. i greatly appreciate your help. thanks stoogedog
