Well it seems I am still having issues with SageTV being Reliable....I dont know I upgraded my ram but it seems to me its always something like a capture error and or the program locks up or freez's. Recomendations for another program? That might be a little better... I mean padre worked with me to get the quality of the captures better but I dont know it seems this program either takes a crap load of memory I think at one point I caught it running over 2gb... so info..

HOLY CRAP!! 2 gig Ram for capturing ? Thats a lot of resources for one program?

are you sure that 2 gig isnt shared ? It could be total ram used for all programs.
Even Pro Tools only Require 512 mb lol Its a memory hog too .

The only software I know that really does take 2GB of RAM is Adobe InDesign or Adobe Premiere Pro CS3.
