Variety is reporting that Emmy Award-winning children's television writer Jim Thurman passed away on April 14 at the age of 72. Thurman and the late Gene Moss were the co-writers and occasional voice actors for Roger Ramjet, an early syndicated cartoon from the 1960's. Thurman was also an early writer for Sesame Street and The Electric Company, and provided the voice for the "Teeny Little Super Guy" animated sequences from the former show.
