I keep noticing dvd releases by volume


Love american style, seaosn 1 volume 1-


smurfs, seaosn 1 volume 1


WHY???

Why not just by season?

Bah I don't buy that- and I won't BUY that.


Smurfs, if they divide it, per volume- It could easily be 27 volumes- pft. thats nuts.

and the smurfs, they have a ton of episodes, but dont' forget a bunch are 5-7 minutes. Where as sitcoms are 22-24 minutes.


Its retarded- there I said it-
I think they THINK they will make more money, but it bothers me- and it puts me off. I simply won't buy it, due to the size and spreading it out is more cost- and that annoys me- plus the WHOLE point of dvd is to take up less space.

sometime after they put it out on volumes then they release it as seasons

o ok if its that short it dont make sense. but i mean shows that have a lot of episodes and are an hour long. maybe to test the waters. but if the first vol does well they should release seasons after that

family guy is an exception. They did have it first by seasons but now that have it by annoying volumes
